For most of my portraits I normally work with natural light. But for this shoot we used some flashes with an umbrella. This portrait was created out of four different images. I had my camera set on my tripod and framed the shot. Then I took one picture of the scene without my lovely model and then another one with the scene underexposed. Next I had my model jump in without adding any light. The final shot was adding in the flash. After I had all of those photos I opened them in Photoshop and then aligned all the layers. I used some masks to do bracketing and got the best parts of each picture and made an epic portrait. Check it out:
