Outdoor Architectural Photography
Outdoor/natural lighting is something I am more comfortable with for sure, but architecture was a new thing altogether. I was using a wide angle lens for both these shots, which comes in handy for big buildings. I also used a tripod because the light was pretty low. Also to be able to get the darker sky and the lit up building I did some more bracketing. The two buildings I shot were my friend’s beautiful home, and the Spori building on campus where I spend most of my time. A lot of my inspiration came from Mike Kelley. He is an incredibly talented architectural photographer and gives some really good tips in this article.
